Description
This 842-acre wildlife area is situated in the gently rolling agricultural region of southwest Ohio just east of the Little Miami River, eight miles south of Xenia and four miles north of Waynesville. The area may be reached by turning east off U.S. Route 42 onto Roxanna-New Burlington Road.
More than one-third of the area is in cropland and permanent meadow intermixed with brushy fencerows and extensive brushy coverts. Woods cover approximately a third of the area. A 150-acre lake and marsh complex are located on the area’s south edge.

Bike Trail:
The Little Miami Scenic Trail runs right through this wildlife area, so you can jump on the trail here. Since this area is a bit quite, its a great place to jump on the trail if you prefer tranquility.
River Fishing:
The Little Miami River is part of this park and runs along the edge of the main park area.
Lake Fishing:
The gem of this park is Spring Valley Lake. This is a great place to fish, watch birds and enjoy a nice hike in tranquility. You can access the bike path and the river from here, if you are willing to walk up and down little path that goes through a dry ditch.
